Kauai Welcome and Island Orientation

Join us Thursday and Sunday mornings for pastries, coffee and juice by the pool for an entertaining display of the activities available on our garden isle. There are songs, demonstrations and prizes... a fun way to plan an enjoyable vacation.

Lei Making Class

Tuesday and Friday mornings you have the opportunity to learn the ancient Hawaiian craft of lei-making. Everyone will end up with a beautiful Hawaiian orchid lei. Sign up at the activity desk.

Hula Class

Just after the lei-making class on Tuesdays and Friday's, Leilani will show you the moves, and explain the meaning of the most beautiful language on earth, the hula...lots of fun to be had by all.

Tennis

Pono Kai offers two very nice tennis courts on the grounds, if that happens to be your racket. Sign up in the concierge office. The helpful folks there can match you up with a worthy opponent.

Hawaiian Crafts

Just across from the activities desk, visit our fine selection of handmade Hawaiian crafts. They make excellent gifts for your loved ones back on the mainland.

Poolside Scuba Lessons

Come on out to the pool Saturday mornings at 9:00 for an introduction to the fascinating undersea world of scuba.ighly trained instructors will cover the basics in the safety of the Pono Kai pool.
